this is supposed to be a solemn serious thread in memorium of all the people who have died on the site and you're derailing it.

Well let us give remembrance to the millions of dead digital soldiers who have died fighting for us.
We have sent them to die to help expand out empires, defeat rivals, and to make a name for ourselves.
But remember him, he who brought that victory, the 1s and 0s that died for your cause.

My profile picture is irrelevant. Its a reference to a game I like. Whats important is the topic of the thread.

I also raise a glass to the alts of Death who perished in a great purge.
May they be forgotten to history.

And the only warlighter that I know to have died is [ROME]Albania.

Do we know of anyone who's died though? I mean, sometimes a player I know will just randomly stop playing, I often wonder what happened to them and hope they just got bored. But I've played a lot of other games and often you start to worry. I guess it must happen a lot. I guess the online world will always kinda be seperate from RL though, and a lot of people perfer it that way...

Yea, back on the Xbox 360 I played with this one guy alm the time and I knew he was a soilder. He told me he was going to be gone for like 6 months and I never saw him online again. Last time I checked was over a year later.

I was playing a diplo with a guy once, he typed in the chat that his house was on fire, and he had to go. I haven't heard from him since. RIP that guy. :(
