Hello all!

Recently, there was a small issue which popped up within our clan, which happened in a match between our clan in another clan, in an 8v8 format. I am still not sure of all of the details, but it did result in two of our better members to leave the clan, and more that are seriously considering. As a result, I am trying to find a way to counter the situation, as I do not want it to happen again. I am seriously considering rebooting the clan entirely, but I feel that would be a bit extreme. However, after the incident. I know that this is not what I want my clan to be. I feel that a few members could use a bit more maturity, for one thing, and a few others could use a little bit more patience, for another.

So I have a few options:

Do I:

-Reboot the clan entirely? And start from scratch, with a few players I know who are dedicated?
-Reprimand the players I feel that caused the situation?
-Increase the strictness of the recruiting process? I feel that this would be tough to do. Maybe change the Eldar position to 'prove why you should be in the clan' from 'prove why you should not be in the clan'?
-Get a clan mentor for the clan, that helps to improve the maturity of its members?
-Something else entirely?

I appreciate any serious input.

I did try and warn you about this...

1) 8v8? I'm guessing PoonSquad...

2) Without details, we can't really know what happened. All we see is someone asking for how to fix a problem without saying what the problem exactly is

Maybe they weren't fully satisfied with FCC and left for other clans?

@Zepyh- The 8v8 was actually vs CORP. I am not sure myself as to what exactly problem is yet. I shut down the clan chat in order to prevent the issue from snowballing further. I am in discussion with both my council and now have initiated discussion with those who have left in order to figure out exactly what happened.

Until then, the FCC is basically frozen.

@Onoma94- I doubt it.

Easy solution:

Kick the players that aren't the sharing the same ideas and philosophy as the clan.

Start on your recruiting policy and review it. Ask them that extra question..

Other advice's:

Get rid of that bullshit ranking system. Ranking system only attracts squeaky kids, Stick with a VS approach where ranks don't exist and be as one.. This means more mature members. Yes maybe have a council and a leadership position you need some organisation.

This is a blind judgement and revealing 0 details is not going to get any solutions.

Their Rank system is more or less just a less straightforward management method. It's not really a system based on ranks.

First, you have to know what exactly is happening, did you try mailing the leavers? Try to get some clarity rolling, you can't fix a problem without knowing what it is.

Problem is, the gist is in the team chat, so you cannot see much here... I have found the source of the commotion after looking through the 8v8 team chat a little more closely. Its... nasty. If you want to know more, PM me about it. I dunno if I want to share it on public chat.

Are you the owner of the clan?

The original owner has not been on warlight in 3 years.

Who was the original owner of the clan? (I cant be bothered to find out myself)

Tbh CORP has now been a trending clan, clan activity at its maximum,I think members like CORP because of its perks.
But I dont think our clan steals players,So i wish you luck in having a stronger management build on to serve the members of the clan just so you are able to keep the members from leaving and may i know the ones who left the clan kindly

It's a shame we have another clan falling apart (I didn't realise this happened so often until I joined a clan myself). It's fair to say every clan has their dark days, CORP is no exception (Loli; the hijacking e.t.c.), try and pull through though.

Steps to Prevent it happening again:

1. Cut off recruitment.
2. Kick any new players in the clan if they were aggravating the situation.
3. Improve the recruitment process.
4. Try to encourage quitters to come back.
5. Re-Open recruitment.
