Other may say this is just an another zillionth Europe map but as this is your first map it looks already impressive and playable. You started out big and that can be quite dangerous. Mapmaking for sure takes a lot of time to do and bigger maps do even more.

One thing I really admire is the way how you put borders on the seas in Greece to mark a group of island territory so you can see where they connect to. That's a very innovative thing. I would consider using the same technique too in the future if it would come in handy.

On the other side there are the super bonusses, the country bonusses which are too overpowered in my opinion. You might reduce them to a more decent number.

Suggested name changes

Limburg -> Dutch Limburg
Limberg (is actually called Limburg) -> Belgian Limburg

Hey, this looks cool. You'll undoubtedly hear people saying "Ugh, another Europe map", but I don't think there is ever enough ;)

But, will armies be able to fit in Paris?

It looks okay, although myself and some other people will definitely be grumbly about how the bonus links aren't on top of their bonuses in a lot of places...

There are also several territories you may want to reconsider in terms of the size department:

Setubai(portugal)
Ibiza, Balearic Islands(Spain)
Andorra
Everything in luxembourg
Paris
San marino
Everything in italy


You know, tbh just use the show example armies button in the map designer. The 2-digit number has to completely fit inside of each territory without overlapping with other territories or bonus links.

i am going to reduce the country bonuses later, i did get some inspiiration from europe 1812 and ill also resize the small territories as well

monaco
san marino
andorra
ibiza
the eastern most territory in luxembourg
the island territorys
and yalova in eastern turkey

It looks fine. But why is Paris such a small territory? I understand it's that way politically, but perhaps changing the borders could make it easier to click on.

Chuck, make sure the bonuses match borders. If someone wants Vichy France, modify the borders for that

tchaikovsky, atm my bonuses are based off of historic regions and modern regions (whatever i can find) the ones in france are more or less the modern regions, i dont really want to go through the trouble of finding a map with the regions of vichy france and german occupied france, if you find one, ill be happy to change it but i really cant be bothered

ive stopped making this map and likely wont finish for a number of reasons: 2 other much better WW2 europe maps are coming out soon, the background map i was using was terrible ( it had the entirety of russia as one thing it didnt have any regional borders for it) and i saved the map by accident without the background image on so i would have to reput the background image and it would look uglier cause of that cause the borders would be slightly off plus im too lazy to put the map back in the exact same position, maybe at some point in the future i will finish it


if anybody wants i could send them the SVG via email and they could finish it
