Hello,

I've realized in several games that the colour Orange is now replaced by a shade of Red, that make if hard to distinguish between classic Red and this new Orange/Red colour. Am I the only one experiencing that?

It has been a couple of weeks (more or less) only that I realized that. Is it normal? Can we change it permanently?

The weird thing being that the color is called Red Orange. And that Orange still seems to exist when you go to "change a colour" on a players name.

i've just taken a look into 1 of my games since i have orange as main color and nothing has changed for me, there is a Orange only, a Red only and a orange red color so maybe you are talking about orange red which is just a bit lighter then the normal red so i'd recommend taking a good look at all the colors out there since some look very simular

Are you using your phone? I understand colours are a bit different than on computers.

I know Orange Red exist, but I believe its shade changed and is now more "red". Maybe it's not the original "Orange" that changed but this one. Anyway it's just a bit annoying.

And no I play on computer, the change was made on computer.

Maybe I'm imagining things.

Orange is my main color and I still get it in most games. Remember if somebody already has your color you don't get it. There is Orange, Orange-Red, and Red. All three are still in circulation.

Guys I know how this work. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about Orange Red changing its shade in the middle of several games already. That's just that.

But since I'm the only one seeing this, I must be seeing things :/

Maybe your screen fucked up. Try to play from a different devide.

I agree with OP. This intermediate colour should be removed, so as pink (orchid much nicer and flashy enough for a pink). Colours deserve to be looked into definitely so we wouldnt need to modify players colour and be confused when talking in team chat about players.

Yeah I don't see the point in having Orange Red since it's basically Red...

Honestly, the #1 colour that should be removed is either Cyan or Aqua. They look almost exactly the same.

But yeah, I agree the colours could be better.

There should be over 40 colours to reduce colour conflict.

There are over 40 colours (50)... but only 40 are available to pick, one for each player. Which makes me sad, as I'd really want to pick black >:(

Well, it was available in 50 player games and you can still see it in custom scenarios as slot AX, so I believe it's not an excuse.

With 40+ colours it's hard to avoid some similarities between them. Although cyan+aqua is too much.

Cyan-Aqua has ruined games. When US and Mexico look exactly the same, it can mess with South America. And I have been known to attack one of those light grey dudes thinking it was neutral
