They'd probably reform in slightly different ways. None have the capacity to run the entire country, but some (Texas) have the capacity to run as independent states. I would think that a foreign power would walk in, and your hat would become your ruler.

NY and New England would probably merge. The great lakes region would go batsh*t. California and the west coast would become a country. Texas would probably reform the South and a good part of the Midwest.
