I believe that the recent cancer epidemic is a result of fizzer over reacting to the Google ads moment. He is scared of not only that, but possibly losing the player base.
Thus, i say : Stop caring about that stuff dude. No inline images? Great actually, membership incentive. But we can't even drop a cus word? Can we even say damn or hell? Or, god forbid, "sh*t"? We've been saying such things on the forums for a long time now and the forum base only gets larger.
WL Forum is a great place where we exchange ideas. WGL, CLOT, memes, news etc.... It's a great environment full of dumb and also smart people. We belittle each other, but at the end of the day, we're smarter and more intellectual for such discussion, even if it just a meme.
Also : why would you target people who have no intent on destroying the game? Last i checked, i don't Hack or steal money or post porn. And those who do are treated so minorly. Yet we get people who are banned for dropping the F bomb? What the f***?
If this site is intended for 13+, don't you think we can handle some meaningless drivel cuss words?
More importantly: people like i pay $15-50 to this site for special pure huprivileges and generally to support. So o think we have a valid voice that deserves recognition. But treating us, those who love your site at its core, do not deserve such treatment.
Thus i come to the conclusion : we cannot succumb to such abstract and nonsensical policy such as banning people for foul language or "racism"(not like you can prove anybody's race...). What can we do to stop this? Well, i find it's best done by flooding the report system. Because that is currently our chief method of communication with fizzer.
I'll give props to fizzer for a big reason though : he takes our texts and takes them well. He doesn't just ban or delete people for speaking against his practices. I think that's a valuable first step to becoming a better administrator, first of many.
