I was border and pondering this question. Who is the best 1v1 Ladder player to never reach #1?

Best to not make the top ten?

Off the top of my head I'd probably say Krzychu for the first and maybe NZPhoenix (Boston) for the second.

Boston's been rank 1, let alone top 10. He and I were both top 10 at the same time last year.

Widzisz. One of the most innovative players I've encountered on the 0% WR Strat 1v1 ME template.

I never made it to top 10 - but came 3rd on the old strat 1v1 seasonal ladder which must mean I'm not that bad? :D
Also I think I could take anyone on the old template (used to be able to at least, not sure about now since I'm very rusty)

The goal should always be to be the best.

At everything you do.

It may not be a realistic goal, but it's the only way to improve or innovate.

Verzehrer is also a very good player who has never taken #1 on the ladder.

Blue Precision is a name that comes to mind, he had been playing from the very early days of Warlight and always did well on the ladder, yet never reached Nr. 1 there.

Yeon by a landslide I think. Widzisz and Krzychu can get silver and bronze in any order.
BP is a valid option as well, but he was not as good as Yeon (I had both as teammates on the 2v2 so it's easy to compare).

Now for the worst player who took first place, I vote myself.
