5 states up for Democrats and Republicans; Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Florida. Bernie looks to have an advantage in Illinois and Missouri by polling while he's completely evaporated Hillary's lead in Ohio. Not to mention I've been hearing reports about Hillary voters switching to republican to vote for Kasich. In North Carolina don't be surprised if you see an upset, North Carolina broke records for early ballots and looks to have record breaking turnout. North Carolina is also an open primary so that means the independents Bernie has been doing so well with. So, despite the polls, I just feel like North Carolina is a toss-up. Florida looks to be safely in Clinton's hands, the only quest is MOV because Florida is one of the biggest states delegate wise for Dems.

For republicans, Trump has big leads everywhere including Rubio's home state, the only question for them is Ohio, and if Cruz can deny Trump enough delegates so they can get to a brokered convention. So, what do you guys think?

Rubio is in for a rough night. Should have quit by now and endorsed Cruz. If Trump gets the nomination, history will remember Kasich and Rubio for being the reason.

I think bernie wins 3-4 democratic states, kasich gets Ohio and cruz gets good seconds in many states, but Trump gets another overall win

Oh, Kasich is winning Ohio. No doubt in my mind. Unfortunately, that's the only state he's going to win.

If Bernie wins 3 today, and Hillary wins Florida and North Carolina, the election will become VERY close between the two. I'd love to see Bernie win 4, or even upset Florida and win that. I pray to god Trump loses something.

@onlythepie - How? Hillary still has a 500 superdelegate lead. Bernie can only win if he does good today and then upsets Hillary in her home state of NY.

Hillary had a large superdelegate lead in 2008 too, but once Obama got the majority of pledged votes, they all shifted to him. The Super-delegates are less relevant than the media would have you believe.

Don't count superdelegates as a lead, cause they'll never vote for hillary if bernie wins the pledged delegates, or it would be the end of the democratic chances in november. She's just ahead by 221 pledged delegates, and all of the south strong pro-clinton states have gone already. After today there won't be any south state at-all left to vote in the primaries.

It's pretty much over after tonight on the GOP side. Nobody wants Marco to become president - not even his own constituents. They'd rather pick they guy he hates most.

Republican in name only duh. Same with dino.

Btw, that's just a name to attack your party's centrist candidates and marginalize them.

Nah, it's a name for people who fold on every issue and allow the other party to step over them while betraying their constituents.

If they were elected with their positions, they're not betraying their constituents... None should have a blind allegiance for it's party.

I'll quote Liberman for that: « I'm a loyal Democrat but I have loyalties that are greater than those to my party, and that's my loyalty to my state and my country »

In 2006 many democrat officials campaigned against him in the democratic primaries for the senate because of his positions "too much centrists" and pro-Bush. He lost the primaries, run as an independent and got reelected senator against the democratic and republican nominees.

Kasich beliefs line up much closer with Democrats than Republicans though. It's hard to call his a Republican.

Not really. He would be much more of a DINO then a RINO really.

After today there won't be any south state at-all left to vote in the primaries.

I honestly don't see Bernie beating her in NY, NJ, California, New Mexico, or really any other state with high minority populations. If Bernie can't consolidate major support with non-white and non-college voters, I don't see him outpacing her in delegates. The math just won't add up.

Nah, it's a name for people who fold on every issue and allow the other party to step over them while betraying their constituents.

+1. Take Paul Ryan for example. Calls himself a fiscal conservative and budgetary "hawk", yet still gets moderate Republicans and Democrats to pass a $1.8 trillion Omnibus Bill.

Or take Senator Kelly Ayotte for example. Ran as a tea party conservative, goes to the Senate, and becomes a moderate Republican over night.

If they were elected with their positions, they're not betraying their constituents... None should have a blind allegiance for it's party.

No that's not what we mean. Look at Marco Rubio. When he entered the Senate he was regularly put in the same sentence as Ted Cruz and Rand Paul in terms of their conservative credentials. He hasn't even finished 1 term in the Senate and now he's called an establishment republican. You wanna know why? Because he is an establishment Republican, but he only became one after joining the Senate.

Not really. He would be much more of a DINO then a RINO really.

Kasich only does well in open primaries. An open primary is where independents and democrats can vote for a Republican and vice versa. Its curious isn't why Kasich has so much appeal to moderate Democrats isn't it? Even Kasich said he should be running as a Democrat. The man seems like a nice guy, but he's not a Conservative.

Kasich is the only republican who has good chances of winning november. In polls, Trump loses hard to Hillary and Bernie, Cruz is tied to Hillary, and lose to Bernie, and Rubio won't be nominated.

Plus, Bernie doesn't do bad with latinos, just with black voters, and I think that's changing too as people start to know Clinton's real record with minorities.
