If mutual assured destruction worked, then mutual assured murder works moreso. this isnt true, because of the simple fact that a nuke doesnt kill the whole country so there is someone stillable to fire a nuke back while with a gun someone immediately dies so the quickest one wont die, in MAD both or none will die in MAW one will die every time
Without guns criminals get the guns. There's a lot more people in America across a vaster expanse. There are many cops but they can't be everywhere instantly.
Most gun murders arent premeditated just drunk or angry people, even if criminals still have guns ( which I'm not so sure about) it would still lower the amount of murders And thieves wouldn't go through all the trouble of getting a gun illegally so if you found a robber in your house instead of a gun ffight the robber would rub away or knock you out which wouldn't kill you so it would also help there
There are millions of guns in this country, many of which are not registered. The criminal isn't going through as much trouble as you think he is , especially if the black market just grew to accommodate more people.
Education -Make Education completely free until the age of 20. Make school compulsory until the age of 16. -Decease standardized testing. Leave it to school districts to determine whether or not to have tests. -Reform the national minimal standards. This time with a team based on content specialists not education specialists.
Immigration -Stop naturalizing people born of foreign citizens. Make American citizenship purely hereditary through either parent. -Strip citizenship from citizens who are members of militias which serve the interests of foreign nations including the IDF.
Government -Increase public sector workers' salaries and pensions by 5%. -Enforce strict limitations on campaign funding through personal means. -Merge federal departments which serve similar purposes.
Gun Control -Uphold constitutional right to bear arms for all citizens unless mentally ill or imprisoned for more than a year.
Healthcare -Slash the costs of healthcare. -"ColonelCare" Government pays for healthcare for citizens universally.
Environmental -Continue fracking in the short-term. Invest in atomic energy in the long-term. -Outsource all fossil fuels.
Economy -Raise the minimum living wage by 5%.
Middle East -Withdraw support for Israel in foreign aid form. -Full ground invasion of ISIL-held territory fighting on the side of the FSA. Commit to Syria. -Negotiate methods to extract unnecessary military personnel and military bases. -Withdraw all US troops from Afghanistan.
Russia -Possibly lift sanctions, but it is hard to predict what would happen by 2018/19.
China -Continue trade and investment.
NATO -Maintain NATO but decrease intervention.
Social -Leave it to the courts.
Internet -Get rid of retarded legislation, keep the legislation that protects Internet users from government.
