So I would post this to the ladder thread, but I am not yet a part of it. But I am planning on joining once I get better at this game. In the mean time I have been watching games that the leaders have played, so that I can hopefully learn something.

So I am sure most of you are aware of the new leader in the 1v1 ladder, "Tyrion Lannister," and I was wondering if I had missed something. He has an extremely high win percentage, something like 97%, and he just destroys opponents. He is unreal. But at the same time when you watch his games he makes some unusual moves that I can't quite figure out. For example he seems to quite often attack spaces with only 1 unit. To me this seems counter productive, he can't take the space, and there is a possibility (if that space ends up having one unit before it attacks) that he just wastes his unit. A lot of these moves almost don't seem like he is human, just they seem so different.... So I was wondering if I had missed something. Is this like a new AI on a beta run? Or is he just a chess grand champion who decided to take up Warlight? What are the rest of your thoughts on the way he plays?

Hey no matter what I have the up most respect for you. Either way it takes a lot of dedication, effort, and thinking to get a now 96% winning percentage, and the #1 spot on the 1 v 1. But I am a statistics guy, and I can tell you it doesn't take a significance test to tell you that when the next best guys have 70% winning percentages, something is up. Do you think your percentage will drop as your are forced to play other more highly ranked players? Or will your dominance continue? How about a few tips for a simpleton such as myself?

What The Hound says is right: he's likely an alt.

He has such a high win percentage, because he learnt how to play, and experienced the learning curve by himself on another account, and when he got to a stage where he can beat most people, he started this Tyrion Lannister account, and showed what win%s would look like, without the learning curve of losing so many times involved.

If Szeweningen wasn't known for being against alt/smurf accounts I'd suspect it was sze. The account responded to Sultan in Polish, and I can't think of any other Polish players able to dominate the RT ladder to such an extent.

His 'polish' response looks like google translated (incorrect grammar, and not even an ł in Sułtan), second one is russian (also google translate), and he has UK flag. Can be anyone.

The flag whenever I have looked is from the UK.
