It is confirmed as terrorism. Someone put explosions at an American Airlines departure desk at the Brussels airport in Zaventem. Explosions resulted in 11 dead, > 24 injured.

Gunshots and Arabic shouts like 'Allah Akbar' were reported right before the attack. The district of Brussels considers another day of terror shutdown.

This incident happened 2 hours ago.


* Update: deads are still counting in miserable fast rate. Explosions also reported in underground/subway stations in the city of Brussels. Deads and injured still yet to be investigated. The centre of Brussels is evacuted.

That wasn't the ONLY bombing. Yes, there were 2 at the airport, but there has been alos one in the metro, station Maalbeek. Needless to say the metro's been closed. All of Belgium has the highest degree of danger, 4. Basically everything is closed.

Now I'm scared.

There is also fear for more attacks to come.

It has been confirmed that it was one bomb and one suicide bomber in Brussels Airport.

The slogan on my profile picture is there to show my respect to the victims and their families ,friends. It might also condemn the attacks but it surely isn't a political message.

The victims and their families don't need your profile picture or respect. They need someone to put an end to these attacks. But then you start screaming that it's racist and you cannot do anything that has any effect. So much respect you have.

Don't get American politics involved here. You try to imply on a sarcastic manner that voting for Trump will have effect on defeating ISIS while people having a common widespread slogan don't?

Well maybe, but these are only expectations. Keep in mind that this has little do with my slogan. You try to compare and convince me to vote for Trump but far as you know, you know better that I'm not an US citizien but a Belgian citizien. I wouldn't vote if I'm unable too. Indeed a bad comparison as I cannot influence the USA presidential election 2016. This explains my "flawed logic" statement reply.

As far as you're on track , I live in Belgium. The bombings in Brussels are a huge schock for our whole nation. The threat is raised to level 4 and Brussels is in lockdown. Many people have had a horrible day and are in panic.

My condolences, yes I hate these attacks and I condemn them. I used this a profile picture to show you , the community, my feelings about it. ... and in my words this profile picture is respectful.

LOL. Trump will actually defeat ISIS as opposed to Hillary, Bernie, and probably Cruz as well. That will save many Belgian lives right there.

People posting profile pics with "Je suis Paris", "Je suis Bruxelles", "Je suis Charlie" have not translated into ISIS stopping terrorist attacks. Mine is not hypocritical. Many of the people putting up "Je suis" pics are the same ones who condemn all critics of Islam as racists.
