There is something very frustrating playing a big 24 player FFA only to find at the end two players have allied from the very start and are the only two left. Mikal and after are two such players who do this.

There is nothing wrong with it unless explicitly stated in the game rules.

Allying in large FFAs is a massive part of it. Don't complain about it unless you make games which specifically has no truces as a rule. If not then you can't do anything about it, even if they do break the "rule" there is nothing you can do. Blacklist them if you want but doesn't make a difference.

2v2v2v2v2v2v2 are settings for allies. FFA is free for ALL. If it is diplo game then yes but not a no diplo FFA. I knew there was a reason I quit this game a while back. Pity such a great site is ruined by cheats.

As for the statement nothing wrong in it, I suppose you are right if everyone does it but in the fact many prefer not to (they'd choose team games if they wanted to play team games you fool!!) there is plenty wrong with it and people like you ruin it for so many others. I you don`t like people allying then join FFA`s without private chat. Is it really that furking hard for people to read the settings? Furthermore, allying is a big part of a FFA. Choosing your enemies and friends wisely is what makes FFA`s fun imo. If I just had to fight everybody without being able to form an alliance with somebody I would never play FFA`s, it would be boring.

Raverbaby the short of it is this...did the game have private messages enabled? If it did the alliances are allowed (unless any other rules are stated of course). If Private chat is disabled then no alliances are allowed

That's the way the warlight has always been. Instead of moaning that you lost read the settings and join only games you enjoy playing.
