Well after playing the INSANE game sevral times I started to wonder how it was that the game was always massing huge armys in just the right spots each game. So I kepted track of my turns and the amount of armys that I and the systems gets each turn and found that the game give itself armys whenevr it needs them. Not 5 armys a turn like I get.


I found this out when I played 10 turns and saw that the enemy army put down 125 armys to keep me from going from North America to South america.

In 10 turns the enemy would get 50 armys + a max of 18 Armys if the 3 cards he gets are +6 armys. This is 68 armys. Also, he has to take land each turn to get the cards so he would be losing armys each turn. Even if he got extra armys for controlled lands there is no way for him to drop 125 armys down in 10 turns.

And if that wasn't enought, the next turn he droped 200 armys down. Not possable.

The INSANE game is a bullshit cheat and I caught it in the act!

If you click Players then Surrender, it will remove the fog. Then you can use the history button to see exactly how the AI got every army.

You'll see that not only do they not cheat, but they start with less than a quarter as many armies as you, and they don't use their abandon cards :)

The difficulty really just comes from the fact that it's 1v5.

The other thing you can do is start a custom practice game, select the Insane template, check the "Customize" box and turn fog off. Then you can play a game of Insane without fog, to see exactly what the AI is doing. Of course, a win won't count, but it's good practice.

I did what you said and now it's confirmed that the game cheats. I was defeated by the purple army aka:A3 that didn't have even 1 controlled zone and it put down 135 armys that it could not have. I removed the fog as you said and saw it cheat as clear as a bell plus my roomate was watching AND SAW IT CHEAT AS WELL.
There is no way at all it could put down 135 armys when it had a total of 27 armys out and no conytrolled zones. At best it might have 3 cards that game it 18 more armys plus most of the armys were several turns away from were I was at yet it dropped 135 armys in one turn.
I wont play the Insane game now that I no it's messed up.

hmmmm .... you maybe right. These single player games dont seem to be archived and thus dont have a game link.

The link to the game so we can see for ourselves. Frankly I don't believe the game cheats at all and everything can be explained when looking at a game. The link to the game will be in the settings button on the bottom left and then on the left part of that screen. By how many people have beaten the Insane challenge, I highly highly doubt the game cheats.

But if you believe it does, you should show us by posting the link to the game.

ah, you're right. There isn't a link in the game. I can pretty much guarantee that they game does not cheat because I've played it myself several times. When you play the template out of the challenge (make your own with no fog) do you see the AI with 135 armies per turn under their name or some other number. You may be seeing an accumulation of armies blobbing up and attacking you.

I saw it cheat too, my roommate saw it as well! He'd tell you but as a monkey he can't speak. But if someone wants to come teach him sign language he'll totally confirm it!

You can post a screenshot in lieu of a link (make sure to include the orders list and the entire map - we'll be able to explain how each player got each income point).

However, I suspect what you're noticing are the reinforcement cards.

I should have said this originally: in addition to turning off fog, go to the Card Settings tab and uncheck "Hide when opponent plays a card." However, when viewing history after you surrender the cards should have already been visible, so you likely just missed them.

If you haven't played team games before, you may not know that a teams share a pool of cards. This means that if you have a team of five, and each player on the team takes a territory, then that team collectively gains 5 pieces of reinforcement card. This means a team of five can gather cards five times quicker than an individual player.

I've tried 15-20 times, but haven't been able to defeat Insane yet, even after trying to pattern my game after online histories of other players winning in 27-28 moves. The biggest killer for me is the TIME it takes each game to get to move 10 or so when it gets interesting.

Is there a way to save a game at move ten, and then be able to restart there in multiple games? That would save a lot of frustration.

This would add the ability to save a Single Player game. Although I presume you couldn't spawn multiple games from one save as that would be cheating in my opinion and make things considerably easier. Would help out with the time issue though of not being able to do it all in one sitting.

I was just watchin my roomate play the Insane aka:Cheat game. He had all S. America and was 2 lands from having all of N. America when he took his turn and 11 enemy armys just appeared in the center of N.America. The nearst enemy land was 3 moves away.
Funneist thing I ever saw. My roomate was so PO'd and they think the Insane game doesn't cheat.

To be honest, I'm guessing there's acouple bugs in the programming. I'm sure they didnt mean it to cheat. At least I hope they didn't

I just quit a quad earth game. I had 2 full earths, all the land on them. The turn that I quit on is because an enemy dropped 80 armys right in the center of my lands. I counted 17 moves from the enemy lands.
So what happened here. Were they Paratroppers LOL!

This game is really having problems so I'm going to go ahead and dump it.
