Socialism is an economic idea, not a government one. Equal wealth etc etc. However Socialism can be watered down like in Europe, however European socialism cant work in the US, as we have more people in Chicago's Metro Area then Scandinavia has in it's entire region.

Stalin was a Communist Socialist, Hitler was a Fascist Socialist, Mao was a Maoist Communist. Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist. There is a difference.

Now believe it or not, we do have many forms of Socialism in the US currently. You like Firefighters? Those guys who save millions of lives a year? Yeah they are a product of socialism. Police are payed for by taxes payed to the Government, also Socialist (however Cops are many times dick wads who shoot and beat because their stuck up douche bags).
