I'd recommend 101st. Leader is 10/10 and he copy+pasted the same recruitment message at least 5 times now. Perhaps you are the special one.

Also, CORP already have too many Saltys. The last Salty we had didn't work out so well so I'm not sure... 101st have never had a Salty though!

I don't understand what you're talking about. I do make fun out of plat a lot, but it's just in a kind of joke way, I honestly respect him and what he's done for our clan. I can't see how he has a bad reputation, he's nice and supportive, and isn't bashing you in any way for you to say that. Plus, he's reputation is raising, he just won the WGL, I can do nothing but congradulate him on that.

About our clan, I think he's done an outstanding job. 101st is in a great shape, our players are well ranked on the ladder, competitive and eager to improve. The clan is on it's best moment on a long time, and that's all on platinum; and don't take it from me, but from the multiple top players that are saying that.

Your comment is ignorant and just comes out of nowhere, the only purpose of it is to spread lies about someone you seem to know nothing about. Shame on you.

So my background here is that I essentially ran CORP from May till August in 2015. I'm well aware of the development that took place in CORP (mainly the growth of an actual strat community, which has now managed to attract some real solid players that eclipse most of our old best players) during that timeframe, and in fact (since that was the zenith of my WL activity) gained a sort of reputation from it.

In August, when I left CORP over a dispute with Kazuki and Angry Panda/Angry Koala, Apollo (using his alt MasteRMind) PM'd me with an offer to take charge of 101st as head leader above Platinum and Benjamin628. Very specifically, he stated that he was interested in replicating the vision that I'd applied to CORP.

In other words, CORP- the clan that Platinum unreasonably goes around bashing- was even in its earlier state considered a model for 101st.

Fast forward through the next couple of months and the following things happen:

- Benjamin628 gradually leaves his leadership of 101st and goes back to just AWF
- Platinum fails to make any real headway with 101st
- Platinum develops a reputation as an asshole

Going back to that last point, Platinum- whose skill level is decent (1900-ish upon ladder entry is very, very solid)- gets in so much beef with others that he even tries (and fails) to repair it through another account.

That's cool, though. 101st hasn't become the sort of clan that I believe Apollo wanted it to- it's active but stagnant and non-unique in terms of what it offers its members- and Platinum is not quite an unskilled player, but what I take issue with (particularly from Platinum and Fleecemaster) is the ignorant judgment passed onto other clans about which Platinum has zero knowledge and (given his history of having an alt that got kicked out of CORP) a lot of motivation to lie about.

You're calling me out for "ignorance"/etc. but at the same time that's exactly what I'm calling out on the part of Platinum. He's had zero real experience in CORP, has no idea about the internal mechanisms or growth of the clan, and his opinion of the clan certainly diverges heavily from popular viewpoints. And yet Platinum (and Fleecemaster) continue reiterating and promoting the ignorant notion that CORP is some trash RP clan on par with Falcons and Wolves when it's, y'know, a fairly competitive, highly active clan that's definitely got a competent strat community (though markedly lacking standout players under my metric of "people I can't repeatedly beat").

I just think that such a level of disrespect and willful misinformation is uncalled for and completely unjustified given 101st's status is a generic semi-active strat clan and Platinum's status as a generic competitive player whose not well-respected among the community.

That's why I think it's tragic that this is the person who now carries Apollo's torch.
