Diplomacy (often abbreviated to "diplo") is a way some people like to play WarLight.

They usually involve role playing (taking part as the role of your country or leader), a set of rules that must be followed (varies from game to game).

There is a lot of variety, but there is some key logic to understand when playing diplomacy games.

A game is only as good as the players in it.

This is why open diplomacy games tend to be far more toxic than invite-only games.

It's basically a game focusing on the non-combat aspects of Warlight, like talking, negotiation, roleplaying History. Not actual combat strategy.

If you don't like talking, then Diplos aren't for you...
