Ask Fizzer. I can see how RT needs to earn less than MD and MD earning less than Ladder and ladder less than coin.

As to why 50%? No idea, seems silly. Its not important though

I believe it is due to the number of boots, which make getting wins easier.

The bigger question is why is real-time only 100% and multi-day is 200%?

I don't like it as well. I prefer to sit down and do game in one sitting, than stretch it for 3 weeks, also TBH I had much more boot wins in MD games than RT ones.

tbh I never noticed the point differential before this .-.

my guess is that fizzer wants people coming back to the game regularly, and would thus promote multiday games as a result. another possibility is that multiday games can be harder, since you have more time to think things through than compared to a rt game. which would make sense, since ladder games would presumably be a higher standard than your average multiday game.

^ I disagree with MD being harder then RT. Playing a good opponent in a RT game can be a really challenging thing, you have less time to think moves and to try and predict your opponent. Whereas in MD games, if I'm not in a confortable position, I might take 1-2 days off to think about my moves and try to come back.
