I started a petition on Warlight's uservoice and I really need your votes so that we can get chatrooms for IMing on Warlight!

The goal: Establish a chatroom system where members can IM (instant message) each other. Members can be alerted real time when a message is sent (like on Skype, Discord, etc) or are alerted when PM'd.

This feature would be especially useful for clans, and if there could be a chatroom integrated within clan pages for members as well as a tab for a general chatroom on the top of the site I think that would be absolutely wonderful and many people would use it! :)

Why is this necessary? We have forums and mail.

Mail = limited to 20 (why?)

Forum = Not an IM system

A much needed feature.

This is something done to be hoped to do in the future as said by Fizzer a sign of this was him explaining the sockets as being a experimenting feature for use in chatrooms.

A chat system is defo something that Fizzer and I think Warlight in general will look more closely in the future but not right now.

I still think people should vote on this uservoice to show this is a feature in-demand.

Yeah it's not on his "immediate roadmap" but still a great idea for sure..

I think it's not necessary that you get chats on games,get mails from people,and send threads

Well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I know there are a lot of people who enjoy instant messaging.

Kongregate has chat, and it's awesome, Warlight doesn't have chat and it sucks. QED.
