I don't like having to X out of the 'You have a card' screen, which now appears every time I capture a territory (regardless of whether it's a whole or partial card).

Also, that screen should have an easier way to close it than the small box in the upper right.

If you check the Settings tab at the top, you can turn it off. In multi-player there's also a "Don't show me this again" checkbox, but I assume you're talking about single player otherwise you would have noticed it :)

There's a big "Close" button at the bottom.

Click on "Settings" in the upper right.

Look for "Receive Card dialog:" in the list and click the "Toggle the Receive Card Dialog" to the right of it.

I believe pressing Esc closes it also, I can't remember.. in fact.. I don't think I've ever pressed the lil X..
