I've spent nearly 3 hours of time looking into Cat Attack. No, not a real animal attack as you may think but a spam mail thread on Warlight. On the Cat Attack thread there were no cute kitties falling from the sky because it was raining shitposts everyday. Some ignored it, some got triggered while others were just themselves. After the end of Cat Attack, the animal attack threads have since then become a part of the Warlight's off-topic traditions.
So quick to the facts, the Cat Attack counts exactly 659 posts! It was the first animal attack thread created and was built to unite the active off-topic forum users. Forasmuch as a private mail thread can not invite up to 21 people at a time and the activity of some forum users are always shifting, new threads constantly need to be made.
But aside of this - here is the top 21 most active Warlight users on that thread! Comments are counted by name and each +1 on the x-axis represents 1 thread page.

A shitpost rate so high that I even had to cut my graph from 160 to 130 on the y-axis. Death also commented on all of the 33 thread pages except for 3, which gives him quite a remarkable reputation. By this being said the soultaker personally has my permission to crown himself as the king of the off-topic. Congratulations Death!
Luna and Cata Cauda rival each other. It was a scramble for the 2nd place but at the end Luna won ultimately by having 12 posts on 1 thread page. A record! Luna's increasing activity early came to rise just after DanWL's rant. Besides Cata Cauda had a very good start and even was first for the first couple of pages but then slowed down.
SirSalty tripled activity when he was triggered. He was continuing to grow at this fast rate until he got banned which eventually resulted in no posts from him.
OxTheArtist's shitposts , that are well above the average, grow at a constant rate. He commented 'potato' an estimated 4 times at the beginning of the discussion but in the long run his posts tend to contain more quality and involvement. Something you may not expect from an usual shitposter.
[WOLF] Colonel H Cardwell was seen unnoticed at the beginning but after DanWL's rant he was advancing in his amount of posts with an average growth. Meanwhile Belgian Gentleman, a nice guy frankly, had a great start but then morosely began to slow down and moved to a slower rate of activity.
If we take a look at DanWL's numbers we can examine a sudden violent increase. This marks the legendary DanWL's rant. Some people say it was utterly meaningless...
