One minor thing:
the spindrift in the canal between the two city parts does not feel right.
The exit looks fine, but the spindrift at the entry can be removed.
Also the light blue line in the water is slightly confusing.
should this simulate an area of turbulences? If yes the first curve doesn't look right.
Maybe replace this line by 2 small lines (like the inner lines in the river) which follows the shape of the canal.
Or maybe do not make it a solid line, but some more or less schematic whirls like with your stones on your "Breaking Green" map.

I had the feeling, that I needed quite some time to load this map today. Maybe it is quite big already? This could cause problems for mobile phones. (or my connection is just slow atm :D )
