2/3 reinforcement card

Situation

So I'm playing this match with my friends and we're all inexperience players. Situation in Australia isn't looking too good but my main focus is defending Europe and northern Africa from a friend who is deploying 12 armies per turn and maybe if I can getting Saudi Arabia from him to wipe his bonus. I want to get a reinforcement card but my numbers are pretty low and I don't want to lose my Africa bonus. Any suggestions? I am Yellow if it isn't clear. Thanks yall :)

You're toast. If he does in fact have the Asian bonus then there is nothing you can do to win this game. Your only chance is taking Ukraine and thus opening up multiple points for him to defend. The only way you can take Ukraine is by sacrificing your African bonus (which you have no real chance of holding regardless)

Likely true, unless his opponent is foolish/inexperienced (which is very possible here).

If his production is indeed 12/turn, then we know he controls ONLY the Asia bonus, and so likely has to defend against three different players (who could be throwing at least 15/turn at him). Retreating to defend Africa could work in that scenario (in hopes someone else breaks the Asian bonus in the meantime)...

If it wasn't an FFA, he would be finished, but in an FFA lots can happen.

By the same token, if South America attacks, he's finished.

One thing I WOULDN'T do is try to capture Australia. If that player is attacking Asia, it's to your advantage.

The player in North America connected to Kamchatka is being attacked by the player controlling south america so I'm not worried about a push from SA. I'm fairly certain the friend controlling Asia is about to throw all of his deployments into Australia to attack Aqua so those numbers in eastern europe for Red aren't going to change much. Retreat back to Africa to keep the bonus or pump as many armies into Ukraine as possible? Thanks

Your only real hope is getting the other 3 players to have a mutual truce and bond together to take on the Asian bonus. Doing so would give a 20-12 income advantage. You cannot afford to be fighting one another at all or else you're doomed to failure.

Getting into Ukraine is a good idea, but I don't think you can do it until you get the Reinforcement card (or your opponent leaves it open).

So I committed. Great Britain has 4 so I can hopefully take Iceland to get the reinforcement card. Egypt has 6 with 3 transferring from S. Europe and East Africa has 3. I figure if I can get Iceland and subsequently the reinforcement card, then I can hold off Red from Africa and keep the bonus and maybe push into Saudi Arabia to wipe it since he's distracted in Australia. Hope this is good.

P.S You guys are both really high level players so I appreciate helping out a beginner.

At best, it means you've played more than a handful of games. :)
