Congratulations Bugs Bunny! You are the first to mention autopilot on my issue. I appreciate your smartness while I hate your disclosure of my secret weapon which took me months to discover. However since you guys pushed me into a corner, I cannot hide it anymore but to declare that
yes I used the autopilot.
The autopilot has an algorithm of first picking the bonus with the best value/territory ratio. Everybody can do experiments and see if an autopilot is able to catch Rome on that template. You can also do experiments on small earth to see if the autopilot knows when to 1st-pick south america or Australia in most situations.
So, the remaining issue is, whether it is ethical to use an autopilot, considered that only members can do it. My thought is that it's OK if your opponent is also a member. I am gonna stop using it against non-members in any coin games, ladders and tournament games from now on.
