The Arabs are a panethnicity, not an ethnicity. They are defined by their culture and language. If you speak arabic as your native language, then you are an arab.

If you speak berber natively then chances are you're an arab-berber, who are also arabs btw.

+1 yeah. Most Berbers speak Arabic, but I think in Morocco, and some parts of Algeria (maybe Libya too, idk), Berber is an official language and has signs printed in it.
