Hello all!

The FCC is now going public with recruiting, and, as one of the two main ideals of the clan center around cartography, I am looking for dedicated cartographers to join the clan. You do not have to be the best mapmaker, however, an open mind and a willingness to improve is essential. Also important is a willingness to share and criticize ideas. Most important, is to enjoy a community of mapmakers. If you are interested in joining, feel free to reply to this thread or PM me. I assume you will be joining the Order of Maps, however, if you are interested instead in the other two orders (Quill and Sword), please feel free to read up on them in the linked thread and specify.

what is the point of a map maker clan? do you have common map projects? or is it just about teaching?

Raneck- I would say that is both. The goal of the FCC, from the cartographer standpoint, is to help teach others the basics of mapmaking, to co-develop projects, and to help provide guidance and facilitate individual ideas for maps as well. Although methods on how to do this are not quite set up yet, I will try my best to set them up and improve on them.

This may or may not require a skype account to properly do.
