These are the three major things you should have done differently:

1/ Your bonuses weren't efficient. Why pick Europe, which is a 7territories/5income bonus, when there are 6territories/5income bonuses available? You can complete them more easily, and the reward is the same.
Similarly, why pick North Africa when Central America and Antarctica also give you 3 armies per turn, but are easier to complete?

2/ There was no need to take Angola and Namibia when you did. It was too early, and you lost armies you could have used to fight your opponent.
You needed to take Madagascar to complete South Africa anyway, and there was the possibility that your opponent was coming from Antarctica. So you should have checked first there wasn't anyone in Antarctica by taking South Africa (the territory). And then you could have taken Angola, Namibia and Madagascar if it was safe.

3/ You tried to expand everywhere at the same time: South Africa, Caucasus, Middle East, Scandinavia, Greenland... That was a bad idea, you should have focused on a few bonuses, then gone after the others.

Agree with all 3 rakleader said. Bad picks, double/triple picking in Africa is usually a bad idea, especially when there are multiple wastelands nearby that will restrict your expansion. Europe is usually a bad pick as well, unless it's part of an FTB or a counter pick or advanced strategy. Here it was bad. The way you expanded toward South Africa was not optimal, you should have just cut a straight line. And expanding in all directions I think on Turn 4 was really bad. You should have gone in two directions at most.

You also wasted armies cutting across north Africa in like turn 7 when you were already in Middle East, that made no sense and gained you nothing. And you didn't move an extra army to South Africa until a late turn after you made contact. Doing that should be your first turn, in case he hits you.

Lots of other small things. I would recommend watching games of some top ladder players to get an idea of making good picks and the way they expand. You need work on both of those.

Just realized you might have cut across north Africa like that because you had the armies there with nothing to do with them. Those kinds of strays can still be useful. Just move them slowly toward where they can be used, and they may help several turns later. And where they can have a big impact is using them to delay. If you fire them off into some random wasteland to get rid of them, you lose both benefits.
