Division C Update: Triple Overtime

Here we are moving towards the very end game and among those playing Clan League its like the final minutes of triple overtime of a hockey game. The players aren't even touching each other anymore, the players are losing track of the puck and I'm sure a few people are trying to catch a nap on the bench.



Hey, its been awhile since I used my horse race chart. Yay to the return of charts!

There are exactly 5 games left to play: four 2v2 China and 1 Great Lakes game to finish. And as I was told by TBest by those playing for M'Hunters against Hydra "I'm pretty sure one of the M'Hunters plays can get booted now and the game would still be won". Thanks for that and yeah, Great Lakes will likely be done soon.

As to Hydra and BIA, things are still on track for both clans to finish 3rd but lets focus in on the game of century: 2v2 China BIA vs. M'Hunters. M'Hunters is the only clan left with a realistic shot of beating BIA on 2v2 China (Sorry Hydra). With only two games left, BIA has probably a more realistic shot at 3rd place then Hydra now. Of course, who knows what will happen with BIA and M'Hunters on China? But I'm rooting for yeah Super Smoove and Melethron!

Oh, and LEA lost to an AI. Yes, the AI has been improved but it really isn't very smart sometimes. And LEA lost to an AI on 2v2 China. LEA lost the only realistic chance they had winning a single team game. With LEA's final game against Hydra on 2v2 China, LEA is expected to have flamed out of Clan League is spectacular fashion (only rivaled by the incompetence of AOE).

I did talk about LEA's before but lets go over it again as we can talk about all their wins this season. Its easy, there are only 6 wins I have look over.

• 1v1 Guiroma Gyver vs. HankyPinky https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11466410: Gyver completely outplayed his opponent, good job
  
• 1v1 Greece Ih70 vs. BigMeck https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11461817: boot win on picks
  
• 1v1 Treasure Map BlackSheep vs. Angry Koala https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11480854: boot win on picks

So LEA has gotten 6 wins. You can break that down further to 2 games where LEA won the game outright, 1 game their opponent lost the game and 3 boot wins. So while AOE takes the crown of worst clan record this season, LEA isn't that far behind.

Oh, and M'Hunters is on track to have the best win rate this season. Positive news at last!

Well GE, I admit I said that, about the GL game, in a private clan chat, but not as a braggy thing, just an update to the clan.

Are there any games still going on in this div?

yes.. the china 2v2 tourney is still ongoing, waiting on smoove to commit but hes on vacation

Tabby is right but I don't think GE is updating it very often (which includes correcting mistakes) since he no longer gives weekly updates.

CL spreadsheet fixed. I wasn't going to comment until the final post, but since Super Smoove is on vacation for awhile longer I wont wait another month to address people. There is nothing to say until the final three 2v2 China games end.

except that MH won the GL tourney.

Congrats on that M'H. Very impressive end of CL, I'm looking forward to see your performance in B next season.

Oh, all the games ended. BIA got 3rd. I need some time to digest this before I have the courage to write up a final post. Its over folks. Its over.

Does anyone know what templates are most likely to be kept for CL9?

ME/MME (1v1 and 2v2), Battle Islands, Greece, Guiroma (either just 1v1 or 1v1 and 2v2) and 3v3 Europe were in CL 5, 6, 7 and 8 so there's big chance they will all get voted in for CL9 too.

Good job GE- interesting watch this year!

So I haven't forgotten about my final post, just been busy. It will take time to come up with my closing thoughts so I'll be working on them this weekend when I have time for it.
