I'm getting the hang of mapmaking (though I still suck at it) but there's one thing that I can't figure out. How do I make two visibly seperate territories into one technical territory? For example: if I wanted to make the continental US and Alaska one territory, how would I do that? I didn't see anything about it on the Wiki page.

You just union two shapes.

They do not have to be overlapping

Select them both, and then hit union
(it should be under path if memory serves right)

Shift...

Let me clarify for you :)

Step 1: Select Mainland
Step 2: Press shift
Step 3: WHILE HOLDING SHIFT, select Alaska
Step 4: WHILE BOTH ARE SELECTED, you can release shift
Step 5: WHILE BOTH ARE SELECTED, you press path and then union

There you go :)
