Here is the map:

As this is my first map, I need help and advice about pretty much everything – connections, colour of the bonuses, position of the bonus squares, general ideas, should there be a background, etc. And I'm also going to need some testers when the map is done.

Every opinion is greatly appreciated! :)

Nice map if it is your first, everything looks good, tho i didnt check the connections.
One criticism only,u made west and south worth 25 and north and east 15,not sure if thats a mistake or just how u planned it,but i think the difference should be a bit smaller or non existant at all :D

You might want to make the super bonuses a little less. An example is North Sofia. You're getting 29 income for ~20 territories.

I think a good sequel would be all the different forms of Bulgaria- from the medieval kingdom to now. Look at the Romania 1930 map by odm as an example of what I mean.

Yes, I made it like that because North and East Sofia are ~20-25 territories, whereas South and West Sofia are ~35. :)

I agree, I didn't think about that at first. They are corrected and give 10 armies/turn less now. I don't intend to make them any smaller than that though, as I've always enjoyed the idea of superbonuses being, well... superbonuses. :)

Indeed it looks like an interesting idea, but I don't know if I will do it just yet... I have another map project that is going to take plenty of time and if done right, is going to be quite strategical. :)
