Please reply if you are a strategic player and want to participate in the testing. Don't worry there are no emergency blockade, blockade or airlift cards. Also I won't play.

Features:
No luck cyclic
Random Warlords Manual distribution 3 starting positions 4 armies each
15 Wastelands of size 15
1/4 Reinforcement cards of 5 armies

Wait...shall I remove some players and make it a 4v4 or 5v5? I'm not a huge fan of large games and Massachusetts is not that huge.

This game has been deleted. I believe with 300-400 territories a 4v4 will work better..:-)

Now it is a 4v4 without cards. It is my first strat template so I will first leave the cards out. Are you guys fine with 15 wastelands and other parts of the setting?

Not sure you can ever have a truly strategic game on that map. It simply doesn't lend well to strategic playing. No choke points and too linear (no easy East-West transition).

At best, you need to make it multi-attack to limit the risk of an East-vs-West confrontation and allow for superbonus breaking.

^ I see..I live in and love Massachusetts hence I promote this map which you created. Shall we use some interesting setting with some bonuses overridden to make it more strategic, may I ask? One idea is to use custom scenario to restrict the effective play zone to a part of Massachusetts that are a bit more complicated such as Eastern MA. Another idea is that we should use walls of wastelands in some places such as the Berkshires to change the geography of the map.

I also want to set all superbonuses to zero if necessary.

Ok I will try multiattacking in the next game. Perhaps we should set most neutrals to zero as well to speed the West-East transition up..or at least let's do it along The Pike..:-) I mean..IRL The Pike is one of the few reasonable ways you have to get to Springfield and MA-NY border from Greater Boston so we should set neutrals to 0 along it. The same goes for I-95/ MA Route 128 and other freeways. Others can stay at 2. The neutral should be 4 in Downtown Boston since the traffic is really slow. This will really be funny.

Anything in red and blue is going to be set to 0 if it is a neutral with the exception of I-93 in Boston since there are usually traffic jams. With multiattack on and basic armies increased to something close to 10 is it going to be better, may I ask?

Also let's remove "One army must stand" to allow people to go down the Pike faster.

I think the freeway idea is the best. With 4 players with 4 starting positions each as long as you have something in the East you can get to almost any place in the East. If you have anything along I-190 I-91 or I-84 you can try to move towards the west. People may try to block the Pike but you can do that as well.
