jeez there is huge hostility going on for clans that haven't even been in the league ... give the league format a shot before you condemn the system. And honestly you aren't going to step in from not being in previous leagues and just flat out say I want in the highest clan league when the other clans in Group A have paid their dues and have been apart of this league. Maybe after this league a complete overhaul of the groups may need to be done especially since we are getting so many new clans that want to join. Until that happens quit complaining about the system and try it. If you don't want to no one is forcing you to be in the league heck go and try and make a league of your own and see who joins it. It could be a whole AFC and NFC division or National and American league. I think if you get that working maybe this league would agree to an annual playoff system of each group. Until then quit bashing JSA's efforts and put up a team and let your warlight play do the talking. Goosh this forum's becoming a cat fight and its pissing me off ....

The new/current system makes a 3v3 boot less of a loss, but it makes a 1v1 boot more of a loss. >.>

I don't see the problem in this. It's more possible for you to have a boot loss in 3v3 than in 1v1. See.. miss 1 player and lose half your 3v3 games and 1/6th of your 1v1 games assuming he's not in 2v2.

not that i have a problem, but who suggested using 2 Medium Earth templates for 2v2 instead of 1 ME and 1 Other template?

Aranka, the Group A clans voted to change it. Just becuase your clan does not agree with this point system does not mean the majority's on your side. The majority is in fact for changing it to this current system.

I am not proposing in my suggestion to refrain from using the votes of the group A clan.
What I am proposing is for a verification of the clan league system over all the groups to get equal treatment and singular rules regardless of whether or not it's Clan League group A/B/C or even D.
Seriously though, why would the voting be limited to only group A teams and not to leaders from clans in group B and C ??
If we want to be elitist like your current voting system is there are arguments to also say that the votes of WM and GG should count more since they respectively won group A and B. Furthermore these also contribute more players to the competition then the other respective clans in the group.

So to summarize I would just like to say I'm curious if the majority is still open to this point division if the votes of group B and C are also included.

Aside from that, even if we keep the point system as it is in order to not make a singular 3vs3 game so important - why not just make 2 3vs3 games ??

@Brain - I would also like to know if the 2x 2vs2 Strategic ME had also been voted upon by the respective teams or if this was an individual whim by JSA

Like I said before, why can't clan leaders from the other divisions vote? It seems ridiculous to me that only the top division's clans get to vote (not even the first ones to join the league).

Aranka, I only invited Group A clans because I know they are active and will get teams together. With Group B clans, a few might not even be active other than a couple players, and they shouldn't get a vote if they are not going to compete. It's just quicker and easier to go with Group A.

2x 2v2 Strategic Medium Earth was done on a vote. I believe it was 4-2 in favor of the traditional templates over switching the templates to less traditional maps and/or settings.

Hey people, I d not take WL or the whole clan league too seriously :). Always keep in mind: 4 players of a clan are enough to participate in JSA s clan league. So, all results are based on those 4 players. If a clan sends 11 players, and i m talking about different persons and not just one player and 10 of his alts, this is not rewarded by any means. So lets just take the results of this clan league as what it really is: a raw indicator that gives a hint about how strong a clan is, not more.

Good point Mosquierto. But is there any better way to do it? I have thought about doing Ineffable's system in the past, but have never done it. But I think this season, once this clan league is started, I will start talking to clans and see who would be interested in another clan league with 6 clans. I would like as many clans as possible to compete in the clan league. That is why I will always have the 4-clan system. But if enough clans are intersted in doing two at the same time if they are staggered a bit, I will do the 6-clan system as well.

JSA, as i say: if a WL player creates 3 alts. And also creates his own 4-member clan. And if we further assume he is a really brilliant player. He then will qualify as best or at least one of the best clans, if he minds to participate in your clan league. But i dont see a really better way to do it AND keep things simple. I.e. how can we guarantee we dont play versus alts of someone else? Not possible.

So, i think we just have to take this into account and try not to take this clan league thing too seriously.

If there is a suspicious account, I will not let them play without telling me an older account to ensure that the older account is not playing in the clan league for a different clan. That is why Master of Strategy was not allowed to compete for [GG] last season, because he did not tell me his older account. I can't guarentee someone can't get an alt in, but I will say it will be very tough to get one in, especially in Group A.

Daniel, managing 4 alts is much harder than it sounds :)

Jay, when will this start? I thought the Group A and Group B has all ended?
