Benefits of brexit:

Not being chained to a dying trade bloc.

Not being subject to the whims of a undemocratic and authoritarian commission.

On the very short term, we lost trillions of Pounds in the stock market.

The value of the Pound plummeted.

Need to carry visas around everywhere in places that are still in the EU.

Can no longer trade within the EU, unless we obey their trade laws, and we'd probably have to be in the EU to carry on trading within the EU.

No longer getting free trade within the EU, in the EU there is free trade.

The value of the Euro plummeted - this is bad for countries that use the Euro.

Can't get EU funding anymore.

Had to get a new PM as Cameron resigned.

Edit: uncertain future as no other country has left the EU before.

Scotland, Northern Ireland, Gwynedd and Ceredigion didn't want to leave the EU, so Scotland and Northern Ireland are likely to become independent from the UK. I would expect Wales to follow - Wales wouldn't be able to survive on its own.

As you have only come up with 3 benefits, the third being 'new trade opportunities' it's better to stay in the EU.

At least we won't have a racist leader who refuses Global Warming and will pollute the world much faster than the environment on its own.

"On the very short term, we lost trillions of Pounds in the stock market."
and the stock market recovered fully almost immediately

"The value of the Pound plummeted."
It will likely stay low against the dollar for a while, but will become stronger Vs the Euro in no time (If the Euro even survives)

"Need to carry visas around everywhere in places that are still in the EU."
and more importantly, people entering the UK have to have documentation too. In these dangerous times, you cant make out that thats a bad thing

"Can no longer trade within the EU, unless we obey their trade laws, and we'd probably have to be in the EU to carry on trading within the EU."
"No longer getting free trade within the EU, in the EU there is free trade."
The UK imports far more from the EU than it exports. Any prohibitive trade laws or tariffs would harm the EU more than the UK, so it simply won't happen. Especially with Germany as the dominant partner within the EU and their need for car sales

"The value of the Euro plummeted."
No idea why you think this is a problem...

"Can't get EU funding anymore."
the money saved from not having to contribute to the EU will easily cover any funding they graciously repaid out of it

"Had to get a new PM as Cameron resigned."
Ahhh... i agree. He was a good PM but sadly shortsighted in this one area. He should have stayed. May isn't an improvement. Cameron could easily have had a cabinet reshuffle to reflect the new direction of the country.

"At least we don't have a racist leader who refuses Global Warming and will pollute the world much faster than the environment on its own. "
Assume this was directed towards Trump? Who isn't President (yet), isn't racist and doesn't refuse global warming. He refute claims that it's a man made problem and since scientists are split over whether its man made or a natural cycle, i dont see that as a problem at all

So all in all, no valid benefits of staying in the EU so i think thats a good deal done.
Make UK great again!!!

Germany's third largest export market is the UK. Do you think they'll really give that up?

Can't get EU funding anymore.

Didn't Britain pay more to the EU than vice versa?

Need to carry visas around everywhere in places that are still in the EU.

Pretty small problem

= Benefits for the UK leaving the EU. =

The EU lost the country that contributed the less to the Union, and as a matter of fact hijacked a lot of good EU resolutions.

The Brexit can stimulate now a real change into the EU, with EU bureaucrats knowing now that the EU isn't granted.

Companies that moved to London to pay less taxes are coming back, and some UK companies are also moving out, so that's more jobs for EU citizens.

Now that moving to Britain will recquire a visa, EU citizens may choose other EU countries to do some tourism, so other localities will have more tourists.

This hole Brexit vote gives the world another great example of how the people will often vote against their own interest. I really loved to see Brexiters admitting they lied in many cases and abandoning to lead the country after the shitload they created.

Brexit has produced a significant raise of the EU image in EU main countries, and raised awareness about what is the EU across the union. http://www.lemonde.fr/europe/article/2016/07/15/le-brexit-provoque-un-regain-du-sentiment-europeen_4969720_3214.html

= Bad consequences: =

I won't be able to go to the UK now without a visa, but whatever, it's not like I wanted to go there in the first place.

Game of Thrones receive EU funds, so the series can potentially be affected by the Brexit as some sets are in the UK.

"The EU lost the country that contributed the less to the Union, and as a matter of fact hijacked a lot of good EU resolutions."

Yeah, i wonder how many people reading this actually believe this for a micro-second? You really believe the UK contributed less than Croatia or Ireland for example?
In fact, the UK was the 4th leading contributor behind Germany, France and Italy

"The Brexit can stimulate now a real change into the EU, with EU bureaucrats knowing now that the EU isn't granted."

Brexit can also show countries like France and Denmark that they can indeed do as their people wish and break away.

"Companies that moved to London to pay less taxes are coming back, and some UK companies are also moving out, so that's more jobs for EU citizens."

Which companies? I've heard talk, but to my knowledge not one company has left the UK due to Brexit. Indeed, as a major economic community in it's own right, companies will want and in many cases need to be represented. I forsee companies who weren't in the UK previously now decideing they need to stake a place in the UK economy

"Now that moving to Britain will recquire a visa, EU citizens may choose other EU countries to do some tourism, so other localities will have more tourists."

Except perhaps Spain, & Greece which both benefited in huge amounts by the spending power of British tourists

"This hole Brexit vote gives the world another great example of how the people will often vote against their own interest. I really loved to see Brexiters admitting they lied in many cases and abandoning to lead the country after the shitload they created."

Well see, they didn't vote against their own interest. They said quite plainly that you can keep your rules, regulations, red tape, bureaucracy, terrorists, refugees, weak currency and hey, they no longer have to pay for the privilege of all those goodies!!
