No. Everyone can use/change/improve my maps. Same goes for templates.
With your logic most earth, world, europe, roma maps are (blatant) copies.
'A Tale of Four Cities' is also a copy from other map/s.

Don't tell us fairy tales about the copyrights.

I disagree. Your point is valid in that the source material is available to everyone. However, using the exact same territory borders, names and links as well as bonus configurations is blatant plagiarism. There's no way around that.

Sure, having some of the same names, borders and links would make sense but to have ALL of them? Too coincidental. What especially did it for me was the links for non-bordering territories... they are not direct but instead curve and wiggle. The curve and wiggle is identical between the two maps.

My map is not like the map called "Tale of Four Cities". My map is based on how the East Mediterranean looks like. I suggest you look into a geography book so that you can see how the Black Sea region looks like. I hope I've informed you enough. :)

I'm not wrong. As far as I now know, you're the only map maker that allows other people to copy your maps.

Understand, you can't prohibit to copy a map.
My permission wouldn't change any thing. (It's basically a roleplay, not a real thing)
Maps are on public access. (Pictures, no svg files. So you can't truly steal a map)

You can prohibit, that's how copyright works. On the other hands - apparently it's just really hard to prevent it. But simply because you have possibility to take someone work, use it and publish as yours without giving any credits doesn't mean it's fair. It's plain wrong and you can't neither prohibit nor prevent us from condemning it and despising people who do it :)

He drew the map - that's a real thing.
Map went public - that's a real thing.
People will play on it - that's a real thing.
