Hey everyone,
I'd bring this to UserVoice but all my votes are already assigned, so this is just a little suggestion I'll leave here for now...
Sometimes colors of players are so similar it's not that easy to read what's going on. Let's say red & red orange, or light blue & teal etc.
Moreover, some may want to change colors on the fly before a game, if they don't really like their default color for that time (though that detail not so important).
In tournaments especially, you can't really anticipate other players' colors, so changing it before the game starts could be a very nice option, and doesn't seem to me so tough to add (well I am not Fizzer to assert it though, of course). Could be with a button next to the nicks, opening the full color panel, as an idea.

I agree. I also find it fairly frustrating when I join a game lobby with someone who has my color, and then the game starts because the lobby filled up while I was trying to switch my color to one that isn't similar to another players. Maybe the option to change colors before the first move or something would be nice, or once in the game loby as Mian said.

Maybe you add enemy-friend-colors. Both enemy and friend color should be in contrast with your own and themselve. The colors within the team or enemy-team should be sighlty different to each other.

Agreed with Chaos. Players should have a second color choice. It is quite aggrivating to miss out on a game while picking out a different color as Mkonyn said.

Maybe there could be an option once you're already in a match to change the colour of each player to whatever colour you want. I'm colour blind so I often have to check each territory individually to figure out who's who, it would be nice if I could change each player to appear as whatever colour I want on my end.

Yes :)
Anyone who plays with me will notice that I use orange as my default colour. The reason for that is that orange stands out to me more than any other colour.
