Debunking Trump's Arguments: 7/31/2016 02:28:12

So lets go over some of Donald Trump's main points.

A) Illegal Immigrants take American jobs and take 200 billion dollars from the economy every year.
B) Muslim terrorism (in the form of mass shootings) is a real problem in America.
C) Illegal Immigrants are rapists.

A) They do cost over 200 billion to maintain, however 1 in 3 US farmers are Illegal Immigrants, and American agricultural brings in over 800 billion into the economy yearly. Lets assume we remove 1 in 3 farmers, we're also removing 1 in 3 of the profits, taking roughly 270 billion from the economy yearly. Also the jobs these immigrants take are usually farm jobs, maid jobs, and other jobs that no American's run around wishing they could do for their life.

B) Lets do some math. Roughly 1/4 shootings in this year have been fatal. 1% of those fatal shootings have been a "mass shooting" (like Orlando). Less than .0001% of those shootings have been caused by Islamic terror groups or Muslims. Most have been caused by White Christians.

C) 73.9% of the rapes this year have been caused by white men, 22.8% by blacks, and 3.3% by other, including Latino people, Asians, Native Americans, and other races that are not White or Black. Mexicans accounted for 9% of rapes in 2013, and where only 17% of the population of the US during 2013.

Also Hillary should go to prison and I am living proof that Bernie Sanders is wrong on "White people don't know what it is like to be poor and live in a Ghetto". I live in one of almost 37,000 people, it's called Beloit, Wisconsin.

(B) Islamism is a global problem. It is almost an existential threat to humanity. If we do not want to enter dark ages we'd better extinguish it now (no, not just in the West but everywhere). Terrorism is a symptom and Islamism is the disease. Almost everything else is not an us vs them issue.
(C) This is an absurd statement. Of course most illegal immigrants are not rapists since many are women or children!

Wow! talk about the Rachel Maddow school of journalism.
Please do tell us where Trump said this

Typical liberal, make things up to support your idiotic ideals

^I don't think Trump has said that either. That statement is just absurd since there can not be that many adult men among illegal immigrants.

why would he mention it if everyone's a rapist.

it's like me saying "you see these Russian people? They breathe air."

ofc they do. Some illegal immigrants are rapists, some residents of countries are rapists. Neither are outstanding to the point of causation, however Trump acted that way. Why would he mention it if it is the way for everyone?

Peace is not the default state of the world; it must be fought for and maintained- hostile actors like Putin, Assad, and ISIS need to be held in check by insurmountable deterrents. I support military action taken against someone who has used chemical weapons against his own people. We need to stick around and fix Syria; the more we let the problem fester like we did in Afghanistan, the more likely it becomes to affect our home soil.

You cannot continue and start conflicts to ensure peace, if anything, everyone should know by now that violence begets violence.

hostile actors like Putin, Assad, and ISIS need to be held in check by insurmountable deterrents

How are Clinton, Obama, Bush, etc, not hostile actors? Let's see, supporting terrorists and rebels half a world away, check, invading foreign countries, check, bombing foreign countries, check. By your logic, Russia should threaten America with nukes if they try invade or bomb again. Insurmountable deterrents indeed.

I support military action taken against someone who has used chemical weapons against his own people

How many tens of thousands of folk are you going to kill with that action?

We need to stick around and fix Syria; the more we let the problem fester like we did in Afghanistan, the more likely it becomes to affect our home soil.

The reason that Afghanistan got so bad in the first place is a policy of supporting Islamic extremists against a Kremlin backed government.

Violence should be avoided where possible.
But rules that are not enforced cease to exist. If you want to maintain the unusually peaceful state of world affairs we have today and the international law regime behind it, you must act to deter and punish hostile actors. There's no way around it.

You and I have not been alive in the chaotic centuries our ancestors suffered through. You and I grew up in an era after the age of warring empires, an era where constant war and total war have both been shrinking.

This is the only era where you can entertain the fantasies you entertain and believe they have a shot; in any other era, you would've taken just a single look around you and realized they couldn't conceivably work out.

Don't take it for granted. There are multiple autocrats and cronies hoping you do.

Constantly invading and occupying did not give us this world, individuals refusing to join armies, improving life through science, making folk smarter, and keeping their leaders from fighting did.

Yes, and we should not return to it by killing tens of thousands.

This is the only era where you can entertain the fantasies you entertain and believe they have a shot; in any other era, you would've taken just a single look around you and realized they couldn't conceivably work out.

Here's the bloke who thinks he can change the world through doing the thing we've done for thousands of years, telling me that I'm entertaining a fantasy.

Let's see, Yeshua Ben Yosef, Desiderius Erasmus, Eisenhower, Smedley Butler, all these folk do not exist.

(Here's the rest for you all.)

"...but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we're getting. And it only makes common sense. They're sending us not the right people.
It's coming from more than Mexico. It's coming from all over South and Latin America, and it's coming probably--probably--from the Middle East. But we don't know. Because we have no protection and we have no competence, we don't know what's happening. And it's got to stop and it's got to stop fast."

He is not singling out illegal immigrants from Mexico, but illegal immigrants in general. He is not saying that all illegal immigrants are criminals, but that this illegal trafficking is hurting the US. Drugs galore come from Central and South America, as well as the Middle East. He is not saying that the US doesn't have this problem with its own citizens already, but that this is adding onto an already existing problem.
