Who would win in a war, the USA or all of Africa?

Well the question itself is vague but America would win in most scenarios. The only way the USA would lose is if they tried to occupy all of Africa.

Sure, the US could successfully keep them off from it's coast, but they would never be able to take all of Africa.
You couldnt even hold Iraq, so trying to take over all of Africa would be an economically disaster.

What could the US do? Industrialise Africa? Plus there's a fuckton of riots and the African nations will pop back into their continent countries with the extra nation here and there

Africa. Could you imagine how screwed the US would be? They'd have to secure an entire continent with only an military of two million. Of course this means they'd have to enslave millions of Americans and send them to fight over in Africa. Which will cause drops in preformance and morale, make drug use skyrocket among troops, causing even more usage here as troops send that stuff back.

Also, could you imagine how many Africans would pick up arms against this? The bombing campaigns and massacres are going to make dozens of millions of not hundreds of millions pick up arms against the US. There's going to be foreign volunteers, equipment being shipped in, and millions of casualties on each side. The professional armies that eventually get defeated are going to be supplanted by armies equipped with Russian, Chinese and Indian equipment. Not old stuff either, all three countries have the interests of either stopping the US from growing stronger or the interest of the US not ruining their investments there, so this will be modern and top quality.

Also, after the images of the widespread genocide the US will be committing come public, the sanctions on the US will start up. You better hope that either the US has the ability for autarky or Africa has what they need.

If it's TL;DR, here's the gist: Tens of millions of Americans die, tens of millions of Africans die, Africa wins.

Both sides lose if America uses its "technological superiority", which would involve nuclear weapons. No nukes? Then spend 10s of trillions of dollars trying to hold Africa, which would be successful for about a year, because you would have revolts to the extreme.

America. You're all completely taking out of consideration the technological advances that America has, it's equivalent to the Nazi's invading all of Europe with their superior technology.

Uh, in 1939, Germany wasn't the most advanced country in Europe. They didn't even have the best tanks, it was mostly the encirclement of most of the French and British army that got them the win in France. It's more the equivalent of Japan invading China. I.E, a total clusterf**k that got Japan nowhere.

Drones can be shot down, EMPs are not really used by the US much and as far as I know, the only the gov has is currently still being worked on and not near deployment. Anyway, every military force in Africa is a pretty big force to oppose the American forces.

Hasn't this been disproven by the very fact that so many folk stood against the US invasion in Afghanistan and Iraq? Anyway, no ones going to join the group that just murdered their friends and bombed their village. You're really underestimating how many folk would hate you for that.

Thus, while it will be an unstable occupation, the US could secure Africa thanks to our technological advantage.

Also, South Africa could deal some serious damage to the American forces with these.

Russia and China, as they would be making a monumental profit from lots of arm deals with African countries.

Africa would perish very quickly. It would basically be "kill them all" scenario, where Africa's infrastructure and cities get rekt and then the full-scale invasion would follow killing those who are left in Africa.

The US Air Force could not sustain operations over all of Africa, it'd be the Battle of Britain on steroids. A large offensive force in combat with a smaller force, with the larger force losing trained pilots at a much quicker pace due to not being able to recover them. Also, the Africans will be getting huge amounts of volunteers and equipment.

Things like Iraq and Vietnam proved that the US cant handle assymetric warfare. And thats exactly every occupied country will do.
The US would invade Africa, leave it a few years later crying and lynch the president who ordered it.

That's awfully hopeful. It's more probable that the US stays in coastal countries for quite some time, unless it just sinks the country economically and socially right off the bat. Also, constant "this will be the one" offensives that don't pan out will happen.
