A similar thread was already created a few months ago (https://www.warlight.net/Forum/132844-play-speed-mean) but it's too old to reply so I'm creating a new one.

On Monday, I created an alt account:

According to my profile page, my average real-time speed is 3min59s, with 1 turn between 1-2mins, 2 turns between 2-5mins and 1 turn between 5-10mins.

But here's my problem, I only played one game on this account, this one:

And as you can see in the nudge/boot menu, I never spent more than 2 minutes, on picks or on any of the 14 turns of the game.

So, where do the stats on my profile page come from? Is it a bug?

And also it says only 4 turns, while you commited 14. I don't see any possible reason, this can really be a bug.

I think it only registers the turns that were taken when the game was waiting for you.

In my case, I almost always (in 1v1) take 2 turns in a row, the one where the game is waiting for me and the immediate next turn (mostly within 5 minutes). Yet, if you look at my profile, you can see that there is a huge number of turns between 1 day and 1 week and only few less than 5 minutes. Nevertheless, I am absolutely certain that I took at least 80% as much turns in less than 5 minutes than I did between 1 day and 1 week, as described above. This would only make sense if it only registers play speed when the game is waiting for you as the last player to take the turn.

Yeah, I have the same problem. Math Wolf, if you get it in RT then there probably won't be anything like you described.
