Having new features implemented to a videogame, or the ability to shitpost on said videogame's forums?

ability to shitpost, that is why the internet exists after all. The most important aspect of being a human being is to shitpost and to take away that ability is to steal our voice, our free speech, our humanity. The ability to shitpost is probably the most important aspect as the community has a chance to spread their correct or incorrect opinions.

Why not both?

Playing the game and having fun on the forum are not mutually exclusive.

It kind of is mutually exclusive when only one person is working on the game and has to either devote time to updating the game or the forums. I'd rather see updates to the game personally.

Not like we actually get any gameplay features often, anyway. The capacity to talk to people from other countries, regions, cultures and such is a far more interesting prospect than paiting a map your favorite color by clicking.

To answer the question, I prefer having new features implemented than shitposting
