after reading this rule it says that multi accounts are no allowed in ladder and tournament games and i guess that means ranked games as well.
however i have 1 thing that i am not sure about...

Is playing against yourself in a non rank game to test certain settings considered cheating or not.

Guy please help me with this one because i have no idea about this

Playing an unranked game against yourself is not considered unethical, so it's fine.

However, most setting tests can be done in single player, which takes a lot less effort since you don't need to keep switching accounts back and forth. The only thing that you may not be able to test in single player are things that require your opponent to make a specific move.

I personally prefer to make my tests in a multiplayer format whenever possible, just to have a link to show my test

The big downfall of single player simulations is the AIs are both retarded and cannot use abandons.

But I test my settings/scenarios in multiplayer anyway.
