the biggest gripe I have with commanders is the same I've been voicing since they got introduced.
they are not customizable..
with a game that prides itself on host customization, why have an option that is set at 7?
I can make my starting income 0-1000 easily... I can make each bonus the same.. so why is commanders set at 7? It makes it so that if I want super powerful commanders, instead of making *super powerful commanders* I have to change the entire game around to use small numbers; and If I want really weak commanders, I have to change the whole game around to have huge numbers.
It seems to me like Fizzer thought he liked the idea of commanders in certain game modes, but was just like *nah.. people need to play it the way I want them to play it, or bollocks to them* which is quite contrary to the way warlight's design was in the past.
btw, to the OP.. why can't you just avoid games that have the commander Icon?
