Supposedly she is very ill, and there are many claims she has many ailments. Thoughts?

This is just too good. She stole the candidacy from Bernie by being the crook she always is, and now she's too ill to be president. In the end, Kaine might become commander-in-chief, a person nobody wanted.

Most of the claims are BS. She has Pneumonia, which while being very bad for someone of Hillary's age, would've been just as bad for Trump. Modern Antibiotics and a good doctor should get her though, at which point the Republicans will continue to scream and bitch about it right up until November, at which point nobody's mind will have changed.

Yeah.

Unless it gets worse, there's nothing to be concerned about.

She has Pneumonia

I would like some official proof, not something her campaign made up, although it is believable and probably true.

There's literally no way to get that without a released medical statement. Her spokespeople just released a statement about how they admit they were slow in responding, and that more information will be coming soon.

The important thing to me about this is they ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG. Unlike a certain candidate.

I don't think anyone is claiming Trump is immune to diesease, maybe a healthier person in general, but not that the said diesease would not harm him.

The important thing to me about this is they ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG. Unlike a certain candidate.

Anyway, now that the Religious Right is dead, maybe the Aristocratic Left will die too. With one final thud to mark it's end.

Okay, here's my beef.

Pneumonia in old people is fatal.

Just being older than 65 means you have about a 5% chance of dying in the following 30 days.
They have a few other risk factors to look for: Confusion, kidney function, respiratory rate, blood pressure. The more check boxes you put in on these risk factors, the higher your chance of death is. For example, if you have 3, the death rate goes up to 25%.

So yes, pneumonia is a serious medical condition in older people.

So, if you are old and you do have pneumonia and your doctor tells you to get rest, you should probably listen to your doctor. However, Hillary seems incapable of listening to her people.

Remember the time her staffers brought up the point that she probably shouldn't use a personal server and were told to never bring it up again, followed by the time Hillary later said it was a mistake to use one and wouldn't do it again if told so.

This applies to *all* of the 3 most popular presidential candidates, this cycle.

What makes people think that if they're well above the American retirement age, and approaching the average American lifespan, that they're magically able to run the country?

Seriously! Take lessons from Justin Trudeau and Nicola Sturgeon. Get a 45 YOs and stuff to run, instead of 105 year olds.

This really hit Russia hard beginning in the 1970s, beginning with Leonid Brezhnev. An overweight alcoholic smoker addicted to sleeping pills. In 1975, he had a heart attack, and after another heart attack, he was ordered by the Health Minister to keep a healing team at standby near Brezhnev at all times. But it gets worse. As his health worsened, the Politdesk prepared for new elections, suggesting candidacy to A. Kirelenko (d. 1990), K. Cherenko (d. 1985), M. Suslov (d. 1982), and worst of all F. Kulakov (d. 1978).

He had a very big heart attack in May 1982, but despite this, he kept on being the general secretary until a heart attack killed him in November.

His successor, was Yoori Andropov (70 years old at time of taking office), the old CSS chairman. Out of the 454 days he held office, his last 359 (79%) were spent in the healers' building, as he had very bad kidney problems. And so a man who outlived him on both ends was next...a (later heavy) smoker since 9 years old who could barely stammer the dedication at Andropov's funeral. Out of the 359 days that he held office, 93 days were spent at the healers'.

Then came Gorbachiov, who was more healthy (54 years old at time of taking office).

Now, H. Clinton, a 68 year woman, has had some health problems showed, and possibly more that are left unsaid (as they were somewhat in Russia).
