Hi guys,

We have 40 players and 8 captains now. We will soon proceed with templates selections and the draft.

If you guys have suggestions concerning the templates to be used, plz post them here with a finished game on it. We'll soon vote on templates to be used, so post your template quick!

For the Captains:

I am willing to play anything but I would do the best on the 2v2 Guiroma template, MA Snow Mountains, and the Macedonia no-split/dense fog.

Whatever. If I'm allowed to participate as just a player then I'll do that.

judging from the spreadsheet deadman's ror seems to be all the rage nowdays :p everyone sick of europe from playing the ladder too much? :)

RoR has always been popular, there have been plenty of open games on that map since I first started playing. I just personally don't like it :P

pushover: RoR has always been popular, true, but not with deadman's guiroma settings that's been popping up n tourneys now. or maybe i haven't been invited to the cool kids tourneys before :(

Ya ps. Deadman's ROR and traditional ROR are very different. We did not select Europe not because we are sick of it, but more as an attempt to try a different type of 3v3 template. Only EU is a well accepted 3v3 strategic template imo in the strategical part of WL.

there was a popular battle islands (that larger one, don't recall the number) 3v3 setting at some point.

africa and japan were also popular for 3v3 at some point, although africa games took much longer, japan was pretty decent for 3v3, but they never really reached the popularity of europe somehow.

When is this expected to start?

the draft will be completed late tomorrow night, so results will be posted upon completion, captains will create the team chats, and this will start rolling.
Stay tuned tomorrow night or Monday morning to see where you were drafted to xD

Note: please check your team chat as often as you can, as your captain will be trying to get everyone assigned into a template that they like and can compete in.

Very interesting to see how each captained ordered their votes.... I found it very odd that some captains ranked me higher than Buns a few times and once I was ranked higher than MoD, while other times I was near the bottom. Very interesting..... but I like it 😅
