Joined a 3 vs 3 game and surrendered right away. When we didn't accept the surrender he just let the opponent take his territory without doing anything.

Opponents were Codefox, Peter, and OraNN. I'm guessing that one of them brought the dummy account in to boost their stats. Most likely Peter as he is the only one with more than a handful of games played.

Of course I can't prove it, but just a warning to those looking to join open games with any of these players.

Wow, I certainly didn't expect to see my name while digging through the forum. zig, you basically stopped playing and your own teammate wanted to boot you.

Sounds like a case of sour grapes to me. (Clearly with the 9 games I've played on Warlight, I've created a dummy account that I played 120+ games with! Because that makes sense...)

As for my 2 teammates...nothing that peter said in team chat would lead me to believe he created a dummy account either.

Could either of you provide a link as I am now curious.

Trust me..If you want to boost your stats just play Earth Medium and, make Alaska worth 50 units, and make placement random and just rush for Alaska. Iv seen it happen in a few times and I am still VERY new too the game, and it does count for "stats". So a "dummy account" would just be wasteful.

Denial, anything that is not a practice game counts on your stats.
and alot of people like to make one bonus really high with manual distribution and select it right off..

All you have to do to avoid getting tricked in such a way is to check the game's settings.

After reviewing the game in question, the verdict is in. Zig is a little sore and a lot whiny. In short, sounds like my wife needs to get back to the kitchen... Warlight sure is a weird way of making a sandwich...
