In my first multi player game (auto game for newbies) there is a player who is L21. When is a newbie not a newbie? Is this guy having a laugh and an easy win?

If you look at the game settings and read the open seat requests, you'll find out. In short, within 30 days of signing up, if I remember correctly.

just because hes level 21 means hes better than you. Most of the skill seems to come once youre in the 40s or so, but there are players (me) that arent that good yet are in the 50s

In my old Newbie game, @DanWl is right. 30 days since signup.

Thees games were made before levels were even added. Probably not unfair to argue for a Lv.Cap on them. (Lv 15-20) someplace.

^^I am shit at FFA stuff too, even though I am Lvl 54 and have been on Warlight for just over 5 months.

^ Level =/= skill. I mostly agree with Bane but some players are skilled already before that mark (L40)

Levels were added MUCH later. Levels were added in 2014 I believe. Maybe late 2013.

The only time I've ever seen a skilled level 21 is if it an alt.

Levels don't matter, much, at all.

As an MH, you are offending my arrogance. Besides several others are within your skill level here. (Using WL definition, the 30% ladder matchmaking)

Even by that definition you'd be the only one. Neither DanWL or Ryzys are high enough rated to play me.

HoteachBum for example hasn't played anyone under 1673 in his last 100 games. Ryz peaked at 1608, Dan at 1618.

On the flipside my peak ranking exceeds yours, my peak rating nears 2200, so if HBB can't play them, safe to say they can't play me either.

ive been here for three years and a bit and ive noticed that levels dont mean much at all and levels wernt even a thing when i first started warlight

as some have stated you can get low levels who are great and high levels who are terrible and some people just make loads of rigged lotteries to get a high level but i suggest dont do that as its not an accurate representation of how good you actually are but no matter your level, just have lots of fun here

In my first newbies only game Candy Caned was in it and level 46.

Although, technically you are only not a newbie when you realise that no matter how much you learn you will still be a newbie.

Wait tingly it's me dizmond that (level 21 guy) kinda find it funny as I leveled up pretty quick and I can still join newbie games (level 45 day 25 rn). 100% agree in the future it should have a level cap instead. If anyone wants the game link I can send it.
