If you are thinking about making a "Looking for Clan" thread then there are some things you need to do beforehand.

1. Read through the former "looking for clan" threads. Perhaps you will find out what you need and you can bypass this process and if you don't then you will be more informed about the clans that the community offers.

If you find one you like then look for them in the Clans tab (Commmunity-->Clans). Read their bio and if they still sound like your type of clan then PM their leader, whose contact information should be in the bio, asking to join.

2. If you still haven't found a clan or you want more information about a clan you are interested in then you make a thread. You should include what kind of clan you want. Active or Casual? Strategic, Hybrid, or Diplomacy? Big or Small? Do you want one that competes in Clan League or RP League? Training or Elite? Strategic and/or Social?

Additionally, if you would like to speak your first language instead of English (which is the standard on this website) then you should include that as well. There are several clans dedicated to specific nationalities that you may find easier to connect with.

3. Now that you know more about the clans on this website and you know what you want out of them, you can make your thread. Don't include a long bio. At the most include a few paragraphs about what you want and what type of clan you are looking for. Good hunting, my friends!

A clan with a long, complicated history (all of which was carefully documented by Great Expanse, the resident librarian), Illuminati has evolved over time to become a clan for teaching 1v1. At this time the teachers consist of Nex, Great Expense, our librarian, historian and ambassador to the Hydra clan, and Dr. Sloth, who teaches the art of doing nothing. As of this time, the clan has no specific goals in mind, and its next chapter will be whatever we make of it.
