Something very concerning happened to me last night. After a 10 hour warlight session, i could'nt sleep for hours as i was thinking about my next turns in some of my multi-day games.

Am i the first victim of warlight induced insomnia? Can it be cured? Does this affliction have a name? Are there any support groups?

Anyone else with a similar condition please come forward.

Such thing happened to me once...or twice. Just limit your gaming time to 1 hour per day and in 2 weeks you will have good healthy sleep again. Start living your life.
And don't think that it's that easy. Mental addictions are difficult to get rid of. All strong will power is required.
Another variant is to take a vacation for half a month and then you will lose some interest in spending whole day in front of your PC. But still great will power is required.
Have fun! :)

Thanks for the advice Denzy! Was meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek but having re-read it again it didn't come across that way!

In all honesty Warlight has probably saved me a fortune. If i wasnt happy to spend an evening playing i would probably be doing something much worse with that time..

In this case you have nothing to worry about :)
You spend your time in the way you like. If it's okay for you to spend half a day playing WL then soon you will get used to all consequences (you've described some of them already).
In case you are not okay with such time-managing, then read my previous post :)

Just take a few days off and limit play to 1 hour - it works.

Silly, staying awake to *think* about Warlight. Nothing beats sleepy-head moves. I once awoke in the middle of the night and my sleepy-head gave me a full set of orders in a team game. Then the next day I relayed those orders and insisted we obey the sleepy-head plan. The turn was utter domination for the other team and a strong turning point in the game. So stop staying up and have some sweet Warlight dreams! Sleep well fair Warlighter and do not let it keep you awake!

I was playing warlight at one point so much that while flossing, I believed I couldn't skip teeth. I needed to go in order to get to the back ones.
