Guys... a simple question:

How should I start my expansion at the beginning of the game?

There is no simple answer to that, because every game is different. Completing a few bonuses first before smashing your enemies is always a good idea, though :-)
If you need help on a particular aspect of the game you should first check the [wiki](http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Main_Page), and if things are still unclear come back and ask what exactely you need to know!

Also, make sure you check the history of your games once they are finished. You can learn loads of information about strategy (initial placement, expansion, when to fight and when to run) by seeing what your opponent did during the game.

On maps such as europe, i tend to take all of the bonus first turn if i can or if i cant i will take as least countries as possible before i have the oppotunity to take the bonus and then i will take it all at once. This way the enemy cannot tell your in the bonus untill you have taken it - however it depends on the map, the players and game settings. : )
