Unless Player A has 'x' or 'y' in his blacklist they will both see his games. And it doesn't matter who joins it.

From what I understand, if x is in y's black list, x just can't see/join a game that y makes

exactly..
BL only prevents people from seeing *your* games.. not games that you are in.
