Hello everyone!

Just wanted to announce that I've successfully made my first map here - named Cycloid, it's public and available for use!

What do you think?

I like the look of it!

Interesting that you put the "3" level in both the quadrant bonuses and the center bonus. It means if someone goes for the center, he'll have to fight everyone that's going for a quadrant.

It might be nice to make a 0-valued bonus of the center spot, so game creators can enable a bonus there if they want. Maybe also the center three territories, that way someone can take a bonus without having to fight everyone that's taking quadrants.

Some distribution modes would be useful too, so you can set up a game where everyone starts in the outer ring without having to resort to custom scenarios.

I shied away from more advanced features mostly because I wanted to prove I could make a map at all - but those sound like excellent ideas! Tactically, I didn't want to get too carried away.

I'm hoping to make a small portfolio of simple, geometric maps to play. Suggestions for the next few?

Fizzer, but a wily tactician could take the central position unhindered early on, as the small bonuses neither contest, nor notice the central bonus..
