So, our wind ensemble recently performed a piece of truly epic proportions recently, and I felt it worth sharing with y'all.

What you're about to hear is the first wind ensemble composition ever made; written by Hector Berlioz, it was dedicated to the remembrance of the 1830s French Revolution....

Very Napeleonic-era French. With every bit the bitter, grandiose French nationalism of that time. Truly, it's worth a listen, preferably with full speakers. I wouldn't do it with headphones; going deaf is overrated. :)
